Calling all anglers and fishing enthusiasts! Eagle Buick GMC and Phil Royal Legacy are thrilled to announce the 8th annual Rob Phillips Fishing Tournament. This exciting event is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a day of fishing, camaraderie, and community spirit—all while supporting a great cause.  Register now!

Event Details:

Captain’s Meeting
Date:  Friday, September 6, 2024 at 6pm
Location:  Crump’s Landing 

Fishing Tournament
Date: Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 7:00am or first light
Location:  Leave out of Shrimps Landing or Crumps Landing
Weigh In:  5:00pm – no fish weighed after 5pm! 
Cost:  $50 per angler

What to Expect:
Whether you’re an experienced fisherman or just love spending time on the water, this tournament is perfect for you. The Rob Phillips Fishing Tournament will feature various categories, including Biggest Grouper, Biggest Red Fish, and Biggest Trout, with up to $2500 in prizes awarded!

Community & Camaraderie: The tournament is not just about fishing—it’s about bringing our community together. It’s a day to relax, have fun, and make lasting memories while raising money for the charity.

Support a Good Cause: The Rob Phillips Fishing Tournament isn’t just about catching fish; it’s also about giving back. Proceeds from the event will go to Citrus County Robert Wade Phillips Memorial Fund, which provides scholarships to local students who plan to pursue higher education in a community college, university, or trade school.

After-Event Celebration: After a day on the water, join us back on shore at Crump’s Landing for an evening celebration. Enjoy food, drinks, and live entertainment as we announce the winners and hand out the prizes. It’s the perfect way to cap off a great day of fishing!
