2026 GMC Sierra HD near Crystal River FL

2026 GMC Sierra 2500 HD | Eagle Buick GMC Homosassa

Drive the 2026 GMC Sierra 2500 HD — Heavy-Duty Muscle for Citrus County If you're shopping for the 2026 GMC Sierra 2500 HD, Eagle Buick GMC in Homosassa has the trim, the towing capacity, and the local reputation to back up the sale. Whether you're hauling a camper out of Crystal River, pulling equipment around a Hernando County job site, or running livestock trailers near Chiefland, the 2500 HD is built for exactly that work — and we've been the hometown dealer Citrus County trusts to sell it since 1986. Meet the 2026 GMC Sierra 2500 HD — Heavy-Duty Power for Citrus County The 2026 Sierra 2500 HD is GMC's answer for buyers who've outgrown a half-ton truck. It's built on a heavy-duty frame with the suspension, brakes, and drivetrain to match serious towing and payload demands, and for 2026 it comes in seven distinct trims so you can spec it for exactly how you use it — whether that's a work truck for a Brooksville contractor or a loaded-up Denali Ultimate for weekend towing. Buyers across Citrus, Hernando, and Sumter counties choose the 2500 HD for the same reason: half-ton trucks max out fast once you're loading a gooseneck trailer, a skid steer, or a fully loaded horse trailer. The 2500 HD gives you the margin to tow and haul without living at the edge of your truck's limits every trip. Trim Levels Explained: Pro, SLE, SLT, AT4, AT4X, Denali & Denali Ultimate Pro: The work-focused trim features a 7-inch GMC Infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, and heavy-duty capability for buyers who prioritize function over extra amenities. SLE: Adds a 13.4-inch center touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital driver information display, and GMC's ProGrade Trailering System. Four-wheel drive is standard on this trim. SLT: Adds leather-appointed seating, heated front seats and available ventilated front seats for added comfort on long drives and towing trips. AT4: Designed for off-road adventures, with an off-road suspension, skid plates, Rancho® twin-tube shocks and an Autotrac two-speed transfer case. AT4X: The most off-road-focused trim in the lineup, featuring standard four-wheel drive, a factory-installed 1.5-inch suspension lift, Multimatic® DSSV dampers, a rear electronic-locking differential and 35-inch Goodyear® Territory MT tires. Denali: Combines premium styling with upscale cabin appointments, including signature chrome exterior accents, 20-inch Ultra-Bright wheels, open-pore wood trim and Forge perforated leather seating. Denali Ultimate: The top-tier trim features exclusive Vader Chrome accents, 20-inch Ultra-Bright wheels with gloss-black inserts, full-grain leather seating with massage functionality, a 15-inch Head-Up Display and a 12-speaker Bose® Premium Series sound system. Towing, Payload, and Engine Options Every 2026 Sierra 2500 HD trim is available with your choice of two engines: the standard 6.6L V8 gas engine (401 hp, 464 lb-ft of torque) or the 6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel V8 (470 hp and 975 lb-ft of torque), both paired with the Allison 10-speed automatic transmission. Properly equipped, the 2500 HD is rated for up to 22,390 lbs of conventional towing and up to 4,049 lbs of maximum payload — enough for horse trailers, construction equipment, and fifth-wheel campers alike. Whichever engine and trim fits your budget, our sales team can walk you through exactly what configuration hits the towing number your specific trailer or equipment requires. Why Buy From Eagle Buick GMC — Locally Owned Since 1986 Eagle Buick GMC has been family owned and operated in Homosassa since 1986, with four decades of experience serving GMC truck owners throughout Citrus County. Many of our team members have been here for 10, 20, 30, or even 40 years, bringing valuable experience and lasting relationships to every customer interaction. That kind of tenure means the person who sells you your Sierra 2500 HD today is likely to be the same person who helps you with your next truck, and your next one after that. When you shop with us, you’re working with a team that knows the community and is committed to helping you find the right truck and supporting you throughout ownership. Being locally owned also means competitive, straightforward pricing — we don't carry the overhead of a big out-of-town megadealer, and that shows up in the number on your deal sheet. You're not just buying a truck here; you're starting a relationship with people who live in Citrus County too. A Huge Selection of Used GMC Trucks Too Not ready for a brand-new 2500 HD? Eagle Buick GMC also carries a deep selection of pre-owned GMC trucks, as well as used vehicles from other brands — including Ford F150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra, and Chevrolet Silverado trucks. Whether you’re looking for a low-mileage heavy-duty diesel workhorse, a dependable daily commuter, or a budget-friendly second vehicle, our team can help you weigh your options and compare a new Sierra 2500 HD against top pre-owned trucks side by side. We turn over pre-owned inventory regularly, so if the exact make, model, trim, or towing spec you want isn't on the lot this week, just ask — trade-ins come through daily, and we're always happy to keep an eye out for the exact truck or vehicle you're searching for. GMC Terrain vs. Acadia: Your Citrus County SUV Choice

If you're a Citrus County resident looking for a versatile, stylish, and capable new GMC SUV, you've likely narrowed your choices down to the ever-popular GMC Terrain and the spacious GMC Acadia. Both are fantastic options, but they cater to slightly different needs and lifestyles. Let's dive in and see which one is the perfect match for your adventures around Crystal River, Inverness, or even a weekend getaway to Homosassa Springs! The Nimble and Stylish GMC Terrain The GMC Terrain is a fantastic choice for those who prioritize agility, fuel efficiency, and a sleek design. It’s perfect for navigating the charming streets of downtown Inverness or cruising along the scenic routes near the Withlacoochee State Trail. Features and Benefits for Citrus County Drivers Compact Maneuverability: The Terrain's smaller footprint makes it incredibly easy to park, whether you're at the Publix in Lecanto or enjoying a sunset at Fort Island Gulf Beach. Fuel Efficiency: For daily commutes to work or school runs around Citrus County, the Terrain offers impressive MPG, helping you save money at the pump – a big plus with fluctuating gas prices. Modern Tech and Safety: Standard features often include a user-friendly infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, keeping you connected on the go. Plus, GMC's suite of advanced safety features, like automatic emergency braking and lane keep assist, provides peace of mind as you drive. Stylish Trims: The GMC Terrain Elevation offers a clean, sophisticated look, while the GMC Terrain AT4 is designed for those who crave a bit more ruggedness and off-road capability, perfect for exploring beyond the paved roads. For ultimate luxury, the GMC Terrain Denali provides premium materials and enhanced comfort. Who is the GMC Terrain For? The GMC Terrain is an ideal choice for: Young Professionals and Couples: Its stylish design and manageable size are perfect for singles or couples living in Citrus County. Empty Nesters: If your kids have flown the coop, the Terrain offers comfort and convenience without unnecessary bulk. City Dwellers: Its ease of handling and parking make it a dream for navigating urban or suburban environments. The Spacious and Versatile GMC Acadia If your family has grown, or you simply need more room for gear, passengers, or weekend hobbies, the GMC Acadia is likely your answer. This mid-size SUV offers a more substantial presence and increased capability for all your Citrus County excursions. Features and Benefits for Citrus County Families Three Rows of Seating: The Acadia typically offers seating for up to seven passengers, making it perfect for carpooling to Citrus High School games or bringing the whole crew to the Citrus County Speedway. The GMC Terrain is a more compact SUV, typically seating five passengers, while the GMC Acadia is a larger mid-size SUV, offering three rows of seating and accommodating up to seven passengers. Which GMC SUV is better for fuel economy? Generally, the GMC Terrain offers better fuel economy due to its smaller size and lighter weight compared to the larger GMC Acadia. Can the GMC Acadia tow more than the GMC Terrain? Yes, the GMC Acadia typically has a higher towing capacity at 5,000 lbs with the Trailering Package in comparison to the GMC Terrain, making it a better choice if you need to tow a boat, trailer, or camper around Citrus County. Are there off-road focused trims available for both models? Yes, both the GMC Terrain and the GMC Acadia offer an AT4 trim. The GMC Terrain ATR and GMC Acadia AT4 are designed with enhanced off-road capabilities, such as specialized suspension and all-wheel-drive systems, for tackling less-traveled paths. The AT4 packages on the GMC Acadia and Terrain focus on rugged capability and distinct styling. However, the GMC Terrain Denali still offers a very upscale feel for its class. The Acadia Denali is a three-row mid-size SUV with a 328-hp turbo engine, while the Terrain Denali is a two-row compact SUV with a 175-hp turbo engine.
